1. Delivery Areas

We deliver to physical addresses within the Republic of South Africa only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes.

2. Processing & Delivery Timeframes

Order Processing Time:
2–5 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).

Delivery Time:
2–5 working days after dispatch.

Please note:

  • Delivery timeframes apply to main centres and are subject to stock availability.
  • Orders placed on Fridays may only be processed the next business day.
  • For mixed baskets (items with different availability), the standard delivery timeframe of 2–5 working days applies once the full order is ready.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guarantees. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., courier delays, weather conditions, high-volume periods).

3. Order Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order is placed:

  • You will receive an email confirmation with a unique order number.
  • Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

This order number must be quoted in all delivery-related correspondence.

4. Delivery Address & Changes

  • Please ensure your delivery address is correct before finalising your order.
  • Once an order is confirmed, we are unable to change the delivery address or delivery method.
  • We reserve the right to contact you to arrange alternative delivery methods if your address is considered remote.
  • If delivery is not feasible, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.

5. Delivery Acceptance & Security

To safeguard your purchase:

  • Delivery will only be made to the address specified at checkout.
  • You may indicate in the “Notes” section if an authorised person may accept the parcel on your behalf.
  • The person receiving the parcel may be required to present proof of identification.
  • The courier will require a signature upon delivery confirming receipt of the parcel in good condition.

Proof of identity may be requested to verify authenticity of the purchaser.

6. Damaged Parcels on Delivery

If your parcel appears damaged or the security seal is broken:

You may either:

  1. Inspect the parcel in the presence of the courier and note any damages, missing items, or concerns on the waybill before signing.

OR

  1. Refuse delivery and request that the parcel be returned to sender, clearly stating the reason on the waybill.

Both the courier and the receiving party must co-sign any such notes.

If you choose to accept a visibly damaged parcel, the waybill must reflect that it was received damaged and accepted, with both parties co-signing.

Failure to report visible damage at the time of delivery may affect claims related to transit damage.

7. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are displayed at checkout and are subject to change without prior notice.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to defective or incorrectly supplied goods, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

8. Risk & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the specified address and signature of receipt.

Ownership of the goods remains with Marashi Perfumery until full payment has been received.

9. Right to Refuse Service

Marashi Perfumery reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at its discretion, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

We are committed to ensuring your order arrives safely and promptly.

Thank you for choosing Marashi Perfumery.
