Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy
At Marashi Perfumery, your satisfaction is our highest priority. We understand that fragrance is deeply personal and subjective. While we hope you love every scent you purchase, we recognise that there may be rare occasions where a product does not meet your expectations.
Please review our policy carefully before initiating a return, exchange, or refund request.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
To qualify for a return, exchange, or refund:

Requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging.

All promotional gifts or free items included with the order must also be returned.

Proof of purchase and order number must be provided.

Exchanges

Customers are responsible for the two-way courier fee (R150 x 2).

Only one exchange per order is permitted.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Promotional gifts or free items cannot be exchanged.
Marashi Perfumery reserves the right to limit exchanges if excessive or repetitive requests are detected.
Refunds

Customers are responsible for the two-way courier fee (R150 x 2).

Courier fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
-
A 15% administrative/handling fee will be charged on the full order value.

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7 days after inspection approval.

Payment gateway processing times may vary (e.g. Peach Payments, PayFast, Pay Just Now).
Please note: Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Inspection & Approval Process
All returned items will be inspected upon receipt.

If items are not returned in original condition, refunds or exchanges may be declined and these items will be returned back to you

If any concerns arise during inspection, we will contact you directly.
Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging our products to ensure they arrive safely. However, if you receive a broken or leaking bottle:

Notify us within 7 days of delivery.

Provide clear photographic evidence.
-
Send a detailed description of the damage.
Once the item is returned and the evidence is approved:

A replacement will be issued, subject to stock availability.
This does not cover:

Minor packaging damage that does not affect product functionality.

Damage caused after delivery due to mishandling.
Non-Refundable / Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

Items not in original condition

Products with missing parts (not due to our error)

Certain health and personal care items

Sale or discounted items (only full-priced items qualify)
Abuse of Policy
To maintain fairness:
Marashi Perfumery reserves the right to limit or decline exchanges and refunds if repeated return behaviour suggests misuse of the policy. Determination of such behaviour is at management’s discretion.

Marashi Perfumery reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
